it's more fun in the philippines (Guiuan Adventure)

Have you ever hear the place Guiuan? Guiuan is one of the beautiful places in the Philippines. just a brief history about Guiuan, In the 16th century, when Ferdinand Magellan discovered the Philippines, it is believed that he first landed on the island of homonhon in Guiuan.

It is probably because of this that the majority of the population of the town are Catholics. The Church of the Immaculate Conception, is one of the oldest churches in the country

During the Second World War, Guiuan served as one of the Alliance's bases. Now all that is left of the American occupation are concrete slabs which once served as the foundations of a vast supply depot, and an air strip, which now serves as the town's own airport.

As well as a rich historical background, Guiuan has many scenic spots. Being a coastal town on the Pacific side, the town has many white-sand beaches that are suitable for swimming and surfing .

You want to know how to get there? There are two ways to go there, first if you want an easy way you have to book for a fligth from Manila to Tacloban you will travel for around 45 mins to 1hr. and from Tacloban you will ride a van for 3 hrs from Tacloban to Guiuan.

The other way is by land you will ride a bus from Manila direct to Guiuan is 23hrs to 26 hrs depending on the weather the good thing about travelling by land is you will see different beautiful places along the way just like the beautiful perfect cone shape Mayon Volcano

and beautiful beaches of Quezon Province.
