RE: Photo Of The Day ~ BBQ In The Philippines

in #travel7 years ago

BBQ is aboslutely amazing at any place. With friends, family and great recipes for all meats or vegetables, or .. well, anything you can put on grill. I prefer meat (pork/chicken) in marinade, just slices stored in marinade over night and then, awww, wonderful. But got one tip for absolutely gread burgers we were doing recently: Combine 50%/50% pork and beef milled meat. Add pepper, garlic (fresh, mashed or as spices), marjoram, fresh chopped parsley, salt, and an egg or two (for consistency). You can also add other spices of your taste, but beware, "less is sometimes more". Ok, so blend it together. Put the burger on the grill (don't forget to make a little dent to its middle, the meet will always shrink and with the dent it will be more flat in the end. Next, put some bacon on the grill. Meanwhile, you prepare lettuce, in bowl. Add lettuce leaves, olive oil, salt and pepper (do not prepare it too soon, it will get faded very quickly - nothing bad for the taste, but for the eye). Then burger bun. Both halfs cover with mayonnaise (sweet chilli sauce is also fine, but the mayonnaise fill not cover too much all other tastes). Add fresh slices of tomatoe, fresh slice of cucumber, meat, bacon, lettuce. Simple, easy, fun to prepare. Also few tips for beginners in this. 1) quickly turn the meat after like 30s after you put in on grill. If you make a thin layer like that on both sides, your meat will not loose its sauce and will not get dry. If one side remains fresh while one is cooked longer time, all the water and sauce will go out of the meat. 2) after you put the meat out of the grill, let it rest for few minutes, it will get more soft. 3) Cheese if fine too. If you like, melt blue cheese slices on the meat before taking it off the grill. But again, "less is sometimes more". If you mix less things but it is well combined, it will be better than combining everything you like :) Also here is some photo
