➳the wonderful south of Koh Samui / der wundervolle Süden von Koh Samui

We stayed for 6 months in Laem Sor, which is the southern part of Koh Samui. Laem Sor is very quiet and less affected by tourism, not as Chaweng and Lamai, which are in the east of the island. Native Thai people live in the south and west. Laem Sor is still full of palm trees and pure nature. The local Thai people are very friendly and laugh a lot. The Thai King said once that if everyone tries to be a good person then everyone is happy. And all thais live by this principle. Thai people are very gentle and loving. And they like to eat :D Almost every street has a moped with a sidecar that sells food. There are so many different types of food sold on such carriages. There are skewered and grilled sausages, pancakes, ice cream, rice with various curry sauces, fruit shakes, salads, fruits, iced coffees, cotton candy, waffles and much more. Thais can eat all day long, they stop quickly at onefood standand take something home, then drive to the next and get something to eat again. Thai people also like to eat seafood and fish. In laem sor is a small but fine fishing village and most families have a long tail boat with which the father goes out to sea to fish. In this fishing village there are also a few restaurants on the beach. And one night when we went to a small restaurant there, I took pictures of this beautiful sunset. I’m in love with this lovely fishing village♡

Wir waren für 6 Monate in Laem Sor, dem südlichen Teil von Koh Samui. Laem Sor ist sehr ruhig und weniger vom Tourismus betroffen, nicht wie Chaweng und Lamai, die im Osten der Insel liegen. Einheimische Thailänder leben im Süden und Westen. Laem Sor ist immer noch voll von Palmen und Natur pur. Die einheimischen Thailänder sind sehr freundlich und lachen viel. Der thailändische König sagte einmal, wenn alle versuchen, ein guter Mensch zu sein, dann sind alle glücklich. Und alle leben nach diesem Prinzip. Thailänder sind sehr sanft und liebevoll. Und sie essen gern: D Fast jede Straße hat ein Moped mit einem Beiwagen, der Essen verkauft. Es gibt so viele verschiedene Arten von Lebensmitteln, die auf solchen Wagen verkauft werden. Es gibt aufgespießte und gegrillte Würstchen, Pfannkuchen, Eiscreme, Reis mit verschiedenen Currysaucen, Fruchtshakes, Salate, Früchte, Eiskaffees, Zuckerwatte, Waffeln und vieles mehr. Thais können den ganzen Tag lang essen, sie halten mal schnell bei einem Essensstand und nehmen etwas mit nach Hause, fahren dann zum nächsten und holen sich wieder etwas zu essen. Thailänder essen auch gerne Meeresfrüchte und Fisch. In Laem Sor ist ein kleines, aber feines Fischerdorf und die meisten Familien haben ein Longtail-Boot, mit dem der Vater aufs Meer hinaus fährt und fischt. In diesem Fischerdorf gibt es auch ein paar Restaurants am Strand. Und als wir eines Abends in ein kleines Restaurant dort gingen, konnte ich Fotos von diesem wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang machen. Ich liebe diesen Ort♡
