It consists of 6 characters that could be letters or numbers. Every time that you need to ask about something about your trip or maybe book a new service, change flight's dates, you will need your Booking Reference. For that reason you should have it at hand so your life be easier. From another point of view we should be aware that this is Classified Information. WHY is it Classified Information? Anyone with access to it can reach the airline or travel agency and request that the ticket be canceled without your authorization.

If we think about it a lot more even your flight's date should be treated as Classified Information because even without your Booking Reference anyway they would be able to harm you.
