Pilsner beer is the most famous beer in Czech Republic, known as the original golden lager.

In the 19th century, beer was in dull color and unclear, and the taste was also unstable. The Pilsner Urquell Brewery adopted bottom fermentation and made the pale, blond lager, which was revolutionary and soon became popular.

比尔森啤酒是捷克最有名的啤酒，以“金色啤酒”著称。十九世纪的啤酒跟现在的截然不同，都是暗淡而浑浊，口味不稳定。比尔森人们建立的酿酒厂采用了先进的下层发酵法以及浅色麦芽，使啤酒变得清澈，保质期也更长了。因此一时声名大噪。

This jubilee gate is the icon of the Pilsner Urquell Brewery. 1842 is the year when the brewery was founded, and 1892 is when the gate was built.

这就是比尔森酒厂的标志性双拱门了，1842是酒厂创建的年份，1892是这道门建造的年份。

Pilsner Beer and the trains were introduced to the world about the same time. With the fast growth of transportation, Pilsner Beer quickly became popular in the Central Europe. That's why you can see the train and the truck in the brewery as decorations.

比尔森啤酒诞生时，铁路也刚刚问世不久，正在迅猛发展。比尔森啤酒和比尔森酿造法随着交通方式的发展在整个中欧普及开来。因此园区也有火车模型、卡车和酒桶作为装饰。

The first thing you'll see is the wall full of Pilsner Beer. Since the brand is owned by SABMiller now, you can see all other alcohols made by SABMiller here as well.

走进室内，首先看到的是满墙的比尔森啤酒。现在这个商标是SABMiller所有，因此你也能看到SABMiller旗下的所有酒。

The underground beer cellar and open beer barrel are two traditional essentials to make Pilsner beer since the bottom fermentation requires low temperature environment. But as the technology developed, they are not a must now.

酒厂下的大地窖和敞开式酒桶是酿造比尔森啤酒的两大传统工具。

下层发酵法要求发酵时处于低温环境，不过由于现代冷冻技术的发展，低温地窖在今天也不是必须的了。

At the end of the tour, everyone will have the chance to have one cup of Pilsner beer. Unfortunately, my hands could not stop shaking because it was too cold inside.
