Yes I love drawing perspective and structures too, I've been doing it for so long, that now it's very relaxing for me :D I used to do it just with pencil, now I'm also trying to learn watercolors. I love those old other cultures too, I definitely have to go to Japan one day too. And it's great that you had an opportunity to stay with some family! I love travelling like that, not to a hotel, because you can really feel and get to know this culture and their whole lifestyle!
