Anda, an unexplored paradise in the Philippines!

Hii steemians!

A while ago, my friend Chie invited me to go to Anda, a place in Bohol island, Philippines. Anda is nice to go to if you like the beach. I have not been in Panglao, but they say the beach here in Anda is lots better. When we were visited the place, it was quite wavy and the wind was blowing so hard! The beach didn't look as good as it was supposed to be, but we still had a really good time there. It is nice to walk over the beach when it is windy, not to hot and you feel the fresh air. On a sunny day, that would be way to hot! even while it is not hot in the Netherlands, lots of people like it to walk on the beach when it is windy weather.

The next day, We went to a really nice waterfall! I really love it to swim in the waterfalls. The waterfall we visited is named the Caumantad Falls. It is not that touristy here yet, maybe only on weekend days. We were there on a week day so we had the falls for ourself. We took a lot of pictures and afterwards we took a dip in the water fore some relaxation after the hard motorbike drive. The road is so bad! I think I have never had such a scary Habal-habal drive in my entire life! before the Habal-habal ride, you can ride a bus to Barangay Candijay. Here you can take a Habal-habal to the waterfalls.

Near Anda town, there is another amazing location to visit, the Cabagnow cave pool! It is a salt water lake inside a cave. While the water is a little bit smelling like cave, it is still a nice spot to swim! You can even jump from the rock into the cave pool since it is deep. The depth is 25 feet! The water is so clear and looks so blue! Sadly, my pictures failed a little bit, but it could have been amazing! The entrance fee for the pool is just 50 peso so definitely worth it! You can just take a tricycle or Habal-habal from Anda town.

How to go to Anda from Cebu
You can take a boat to Tagbilaran city. This will take 2 a 3 hours by fastcraft and 4 hours with the slow boat. In Tagbilaran, you have to ride a bus to Anda from the Dao terminal. You can go to the Dao terminal by tricycle. The busride will take you around 3 more hours.

It is also possible to take the boat to Ubay. We missed the boat since the traffic was so bad! But this trip is supposed to be faster. We took this trip on the way back, It was an overnight trip so we could just sleep! Lots more comfortable to me! From Ubay you will have an one and a half hour busride to Anda.

Where to stay?
We stayed in Little Miami beachresort. It is a really nice resort by the beach, and it is really affordable! Chie and I shared a fanroom so we had to pay 350 peso each.

Along the road we made a stop after the waterfall to capture this amazing rice field view!

I hope you enjoyed to read my post and my pictures. I really enjoyed Anda for sure and I hope that people will visit not only Panglao in Bohol, but also the unexplored paradise! I promise, you will not regret it!

Sha

Looks like a beautifull place to visit !!

It was great to go here! One of my favorite spots in Mindanao :)

I love your waterfalls photos and the cave pool OMG I want to swim there! :) I haven't been yet in Bohol but we have the plan to go somewhere there this coming January.

Okay cool! Panglao and Anda is what I would recommend you :)

Nice post. Glad you enjoyed Bohol. There are a lot of unexplored islands in the Philippines. There is Surigao, Palawan, Cebu and so much more. Hope you find time to travel to all of them

Yess I definitely want to go to surigao and siargao! Palawan sounds amazing too! And Cebu feels already like home hahah.
Thank you for passing by :)

Regards,
Sha

Been there to Anda, Bohol last summer although it's another location still I enjoyed their white sand beach and the snorkeling session with my brothers. 😊

Hey :) First of all I really like the pictures! I also have been to Anda and even though it was low tide the beach was breathtaking. We went to falls near Jagna (we traveled from Tagbilaran to Anda, Jagna was on the way haha)
I thought I am going to die during the Habal habal ride and I had to laugh when I read your post. I totally feel you :D
