开普敦旅行记-Cape Town Travel Notes

2017.8 月 19 日 ~9 月 1 日（ 14 天）我们组织了中国朋友到南非开普敦及南非花园大道摄影学习，并由约翰老师带队，全程辅导摄影技巧，在旅游过程中，他们学到很多知识，收获满满，一路非常开心，自己做中国菜，他们非常喜欢南非，喜欢拍动物和动物亲密接触，喜欢南非的彩虹，说下次一定还要再来！

This year, from August 19 until September 1 (14 days) we (my Husband – Johann van der Walt and myself) organized a photographic workshop for some of our Chinese photographic friends to photograph the South African Garden Route area. Johann has conducted many landscape workshops in the past and he was always available to share his photographic skills with the group. At the end they all agreed that they gained a lot of photographic knowledge. The group worked together very well and in the smaller towns they even sometimes prepared their own Chinese food as there was no Chinese restaurants in the rural areas. Back home that shared their experiences with others on WeChat and seems to be very fond of South Africa.One of the highlights was an impromptu visit to an animal farm where they could get intimate contact with farm animals as well as tamed wild animals - even a cheetah! Another highlight was the fact that we were lucky enough to get three sightings of rainbows, something they do not see often back home. They are already talking about returning to South Africa for another photographic experience.

从开普敦一直向东延伸至伊利莎白港，全程超过 500 公里的一级海滨公路被称为“花园大道”，是南非最著名的风景之一，车轮前进的每一转动，都迎来令人心动的不同美景。花园大道与湖泊、山脉、黄金海滩、悬崖峭壁和茂密原始森林丛生的海岸线平行，沿途可见清澈的河流自欧坦尼科与齐齐卡马山脉流入蔚蓝的大海。

The Garden Route region stretches for 500km eastward from Cape Town towards Port Elizabeth. This area is known as the Garden Route because of its beautiful scenery. When driving from Cape Town, you have a majestic Outeniqua mountain range on your left and the coastline on your right. This area has many lakes and dense forests with steep cliffs at the edge of the ocean. There are many secluded golden beaches which is very popular in the summer.

南非人口排名第二大城市，也是开普敦都会城区的组成部分、西开普省省会，开普敦为南非立法首都，因此南非国会及很多政府部门亦坐落于该市。

Cape Town is South Africa's second largest city and the capital of Western Cape. Cape Town is South Africa's legislative capital housing the South African Parliament and many government departments.

坐观光旅游巴士游览开普敦，巴士上有多种国家语言介绍开普敦发展史。延海岸线游览十几个景点，中途可随意下车拍照。

The best way to explore Cape Town is to join the Famous Red Bus tours. Not only will it introduce you to the most famous sightseeing spots in Cape Town, but will also introduce you to the history of Cape Town – and all of this in your own language (in our case Chinese). We stopped at many spots along the road of which the stop at the famous Table Mountain Cable Car Station was a highlight for us.

好望角 Cape of Good Hope

开普敦以其美丽的自然景观及码头闻名，知名的地标有被誉为“上帝之餐桌”的桌山

Cape Town is nestled at the foothills of Table Mountain, also known as "the table of God" and has beautiful natural landscapes and many marinas.

山顶植被繁茂，据说植物种类有 1470 种，比英国全国还多。桌山右侧是狮头山和信号山，左侧是魔鬼峰。山顶终年云雾缭绕，

Vegetation is lush, it is said that there are more than 1470 plant species in this small area, which is more than in the whole of the United Kingdom. On the right side of the Table Mountain is the Lion's head mountain and Signal hill and on the left, is Devil Peak which is almost always covered in clouds.

桌山位于南非的平顶山，可俯瞰开普敦市和桌湾，耸立于高而多岩石的开普半岛北端。其平板状山体是砂岩层暴露于强风和受流水侵蚀所形成。

Table Mountain is in between these two peaks overlooking Cape Town and Table Bay, it is the highest point in this rocky tip of the Cape. Its flat-like top is caused by the sandstone being exposed to strong winds and erosion.

我们居住的酒店依山傍海。Our hotel was well chosen with a view of the mountain in the background and the see in front.

我们还去了小鱼村吃海鲜 We also went to a small fishing village to eat seafood.
