Cuban Countryside in Pictures

When viewing these images it's important to remember that people are doing the best they can with what they've got and we should look at their dwellings with admiration for what they've achieved rather than pity.

This is a typical little house and property. Building materials are scarce people are too poor to afford them.

I'm not sure if this is a shop or some other establishment.

Another little house. The stucco needs some TLC but they have nice orange trees outside.

This is an apartment building where mostly resort staff members live.

This is a famous statue marking the entrance to this town. We were told a lot about it but now in present day I can't recall what the town was named.
