A Trip To World Peace Stupa ! Pokhara, Nepal !

So today I'm gonna share my trip experiance of Pokhara, Nepal!
So in Pokhra I visit this place named as World Peace Stupa which is also known as Pokhara Shanti Stupa . Pokhara Shanti Stupa is a Bhuddhist Pagoda style monument on anand hill .
Shanti Stupa in Pokhara was built by Nipponzan-Myohoji Monk morioka sonin with local supporters under the guidance of Nichidatsu Fuji, a Bhuddhist Monk and the founder of Nipponzan-Myohoji.
Shanti Stupa shrine was built as a symbol of peace. Situated at the height of 1100 meters on the Ananda Hill, Nichidatsu Fuji laid the foundation stone along with relics of the Buddha on 12 September 1973. Nepal has two of the eighty peace pagodas in the world: Shanti Stupa in Lumbini, the birthplace of the Buddha and Shanti Stupa in Pokhara. Shanti Stupa in Pokhara has also become a tourist attraction. It provides a panoramic view of the Annapurna range, Pokhara city and Fewa Lake.

So these are pictures from my travel to Shanti Stupa. There is only one way to reach there and that is by crossing the fewa lake by hiring a boat from Pokhara lake . One can hire a boat for 700 Nepalie Rupees with driver than he will take you to the base of the annapurna hill and than you have to reach on top of the hill by doing traking.
