Wat Chedi Luang Worawihan

The Wat Chedi Luang Worawihan is another historical wat in Thailand. King Saen Muang Ma wanted a special place to bury the ashes of his father in and so he had the Wat Chedi Luang Worawihan constructed sometime in the 14th century. A decade in the making of the wat, the king himself passed away and so his Queen was the one who continued the construction. So many years after that, King Tilokaraj had the wat completed and today, it is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Chiang Mai.
