Travel Pro Adventure #21: Swimming with Sea Turtles in Mancora Peru! Part Two (23 photos, 1 video)

Hey there my Steemit friends. Welcome back to part two as we continue our sea turtle adventure in Mancora Peru. I'm joined by Danielle from Chile who I met at my hotel during breakfast. She invited me to go along with her on the sea turtle tour. The unpredictability of who you are going to meet and how your day will turn out is one of my favorite things about traveling.

Swimming with the sea turtles was only half of our tour, the second half we stopped at Playa (Beach) Vichayito before heading back to our hotel. Technically swimming with the sea turtles part of the trip happened about 30 minutes south of Mancora at Organos Beach. But the real known destination where everyone spends their time is Mancora. The entire tour only cost about twenty dollars.

After a full day of activities we were hungry and decided to go out to eat for dinner together. We chose one of the more popular restaurants and I went with the Peruvian coastal classic civiche mixto. This was a mix of seafood cooked in the acid of lime juice and other spices. It was fresh and it was fantastic!

Mancora Peru was a lot of fun and I highly recommend anyone in the area to stop here for a few days and enjoy the nice weather, beach, tours, culture, and of course the awesome Peruvian food! Before we get too far ahead of ourselves let's continue where we left off; back in the ocean surrounded by these gentle and amazing animals!

Is that some underwater sea turtle eye contact I caught on camera! I think so!

After just graduating college while working two jobs; Daniella is letting loose and really enjoying the day. She is care free and making the most of her trip north from Santiago Chile to Quito Ecuador!

Who needs to swim when you can just hold onto the back of a turtle! Having extra long Travel Pro Arms helps!

The water was a bit chili. Once out of the water the sun dried you off and warmed you back up quickly.

The pier was also used by the local fishing industry. When we got off the boat I had a chance to take look at how things where done.

Our group was soon rounded up and we were off to Playa Vichayito.

The photos in the post really got me motivated to start working out! Combined with some exercise and several weeks of great Peruvian food I've put on about thirty pounds of muscle and now look like this again! Lol! Well, not exactly!

Having a fantastic plate of the classic Peruvian civiche with excellent company was a great way to end the this Travel Pro Adventure! Thank you so much for coming along! Until Next Time. -Dan "World Travel Pro!"
