Real Life Captured #100: Mancora Peru! Part Two (15 photos)
Hey there my Steemit friends! Looks like this series is a success! We made it 100 posts! But we are just getting started here on steemit aren't we! Now let's let me ask you if you want to ride a horse on the beach? How about try a Peruvian Cremolada for 65 cents? Do you like ceviche, AKA Peruvian sushi? Do you like to surf? Do you like long walks on the beach and beautiful sunsets? Do you like to dance all night until the sun comes up? If so, Mancora Peru is the place to visit!
Here in Mancora you can do all these things and much more for a fraction of the price it would cost you in the western world. It's certainly a Travel Pro Budget Destination. Fine Dining for 5 to 10 dollars a meal, not bad! This was certainly one my favorite spots in Peru. This is where I got to enjoy going swimming with the sea turtles on a half day tour for only twenty dollars.
You can really have a great time in this beach town and it won't cost you all that much. Even my hotel had a swimming pool, good wifi, and included breakfast for only twenty dollars a night three blocks from the beach. So I'd certainly recommend Mancora Peru as a great place to spend a few nights if you find yourself in this part of the world.
Besides all that they have some great street food like this guy selling fantastic hamburgers for only about a dollar fifty! Here in Peru they often top their burgers with shoes string crispy french fries and an egg to make a it a super Peruvian burger! Now let's have a look at what's going on here in Mancora Peru!

I like the shot of the market. Looks really clean and nice. Food on the beach looks awesome. Like the display of jokes. Potty humour is still a big thing in Latin America. The street with all the wooden houses with the electric poles running down the side...did you happen to notice if all those houses had meters? The reason I ask is that in a lot of places in Latin America it seems to be the trend to steal electricity. I would assume because it is expensive for the locals.
Thank you Cici! I really enjoyed Mancora. Longer I stayed the the more I did not want to leave. Good food, good people, good weather, and good prices. This place was a lot of fun. Regarding the locals stealing electricity, and the meters. That is one thing I did not make note of, but it wouldn't surprise me to learn that is what's going on. I too have heard of stuff like that. We were only in Chiang Mai for two 'half' days on either side of our trip, but from that we could see it was crazy! We spent most of our time up in the mountains/jungle to escape the city.

Ha ha. Bromas translates to jokes. I don't what's worse eating the plastic turd or a real one! lol Yes that's just a typical street in Mancora. Yes people live in these simple homes. There are little mini markets mixed around as well. Thanks for stopping by as always Gill!
