Thank you for sharing this post with your fellow foodies! Always appreciated. Yes 8 dollars a day! That's a lot of money in Thailand. The average worker here only makes about 10-15 dollars a day. So that is like an American or Canadian who makes 100 dollars a day, spending 80 of it on food! It's a whole other world out in these parts. I think you need to take a trip out here. I think you would like stepping off the plane and suddenly you are wealthy! Very strange feeling, but generally a good one.
