Fantastic trip to Rome, Italy: part 8 (Vatican, St. Peter's Basilica)

The first basilica on this site was built in the year 1070-1080.

But every time, with the advent of a new style in architecture, it rebuilt all the time.

The area of construction is 22,000 sq.m. and its height is 189 m.

The inner decoration of the cathedral strikes with its grandiose size and luxury.

There are many altars, statues, tombstones and valuable works of art.
