1840's Gamble Plantation Historic State Park - Ellenton, FL - Florida Pioneers

This is one of the oldest houses in Florida. You can walk around the grounds and take a guided tour of the home. There is a small museum there. They also have equipment that would have been used to harvest the sugar cane.

This house was advanced for it's time and had it's own cistern that collected rainwater from the roof
