The Witch House
Located in Salem, Massachusetts, USA and was owned by Judge Jonathan Corwin. He was one of the Judges involved in the Salem Witch Trials which took place from Feb. 1692-May 1693.
The house is the only structure still around with direct ties to that terrible period in time, where 20 people lost their lives. The majority by hangings and some while in prison accused of Witchcraft.
It is believed to have been built sometime between 1620-42 and it is now a Essex National Heritage site & Part of the U.S. Historic District (Chestnut Street District)
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to tour this historical building but would love to go back and do some more exploring.
