The Indonesian archipelago is made up of a collection of islands. It is made up of 13,500 islands. The country offers adventure for everyone. The country is full of ancient architecture, serene island, and untouched waters. The remote villages in this country would take you back in time. We have made a list of some of the places in Indonesia you must visit to experience the country to its fullest.
Bali

The beaches of Bali are the most famous vacation destination in Indonesia. Any trip to this island paradise is incomplete without visiting Bali. The warm sand and blue water is the specialty of this island. Sun, surfing, and socializing are the things to do in Bali.
Borobudur

Borobudur is an ancient temple in Indonesia. It is one of the most significant landmarks in the country. The site has been given the status of UNESCO World Heritage site. It is considered the greatest Buddhist site ever to be found. The site is one of the main attractions of Java.
Gili Islands

The Gili Islands have gained popularity amongst backpackers in the last few years. The picturesque islands give you the feeling that they are out from a fantasy movie. You should go diving and visit the turtle sanctuary.
Komodo National Park

Lake Toba

Lake Toba is one of Indonesia's natural wonders. Lake Toba is known for its stunning beauty. It is a great place for water skiing, canoeing, swimming, and fishing.
Mount Bromo

Mount Bromo is among the best-known volcanos in the country. The mount is known for its astonishing beauty. It is a part of the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. The park is also home to an isolated ethnic group. They are protected under the law.
