Riding A Box Into The Sky | Race Down A Mountain !

The race is on!
We are riding a box into the sky to then race down a mountain in Queenstown, New Zealand. It was an exhilarating experience and a lot of fun.
First to get to this race you have to ride to the top of the mountain in a box (gondola) that feels like it's going straight into the sky.
We get the chance to ride to the top of a mountain overlooking Queesnstown NZ and ride on the Luge that goes down the mountain.
From the center of town you have to walk up some steps then uphill a bit to get there. It isnt too steep. There was not much of a line. The main thing people do is the Luge. You should think very carefully about how many rides you want and buy them there versus buying them once you are up. It is already quite expensive and it is even more once you get to the top.
The gondola is fairly small, they usually only put max of 4 people in so its not too crowded. The views are nice. Then from the top, you can take another gondola up to the top. This one is basically a bench and open so a bit of a difference experience.
The luge was fun. I bought 5 rides. I actually got a free ride because the guy's pen ran out of ink so I got 6 rides. That was enough rides for me.
There are two tracks. You must take your first ride on the easy one. Then you can take the harder one. It goes by pretty fast so you can do 5 rides pretty fast. If they had more courses, I might do more rides, but doing 5 on the hard was enough for me.
The luge is very easy to use, you just pull back on the bar to brake and let it go forward to go faster. If you let go, it automatically brakes and comes to a stop. Steering is pretty intuitive. I can see some danger if you go into a turn way too fast but most people have common sense.
You can also walk down the path of the track if you want a hike. It's a good way to have someone take a photo of you while on the luge rather than pay for one of their photos.
