The Wonder Bar - Asbury Park, NJ - Yappy Hour

I thought I would showcase some of the unique places in Asbury Park, NJ to visit, other than the beach. Summer has officially shown up at the Jersey Shore, temps pushing 90 right now and with the higher temps, some of our favorite places begin to open for the season.

Today I'll show you the quirky little Rock & Roll Bar known as the Wonder Bar!

The Wonder Bar is unique in a few ways:

*Music legends like Bruce Springsteen will crash a show and get on stage with some of the touring acts that he's friends with. (I bought him a shot of Patron on the deck last summer)
*It also has great outside space across the street from the Atlantic ocean.
*It also has outside space for your dogs. Yes, you can bring your dogs to the bar. Let them run around while you enjoy friends, music, a few drinks and the sunset.![IMG_0878.JPG]

Tonight is opening night of "Yappy Hour" and the bar is bringing out all the chairs, water bowls and umbrellas. "Yappy Hour" is a real thing, try googling it. My two dogs love it there. Scampering around with the other mutts. We love it too because there's a sense of community, a lot of locals use the facility, especially on the week nights.

wakeupsheeps and his roomate Mackerel sometimes need a break from the action and you never know who's going to walk thru the front gate!

This is a concept I would love to franchise. Every town needs it's own dog bar!
