Fun trip. I don't picture Australia as having mountains, simply Ayers Rock. Is there some skiing their in the winter?

    there is skiiing in southern NSW and northern Vic in winter... but its so-so. Compared to much of the world our mountains are really just bumps on hills :) But they are our mountains and we love them lol!

      Sounds like New Jersey (Poconos) skiing on mostly an ice sheet with frozen snow, unless it actually snowed.
