Backlight happiness

in #travel8 years ago
So, the other day I was in the park and I started to see giant soap bubbles, I must admit that my mood instantly improved. As I kept walking, It caught my attention that the source of this happiness bubbles came from a man standing on a little hill, happily making them and ready to lit up everyone's day. I dare say that he was in his late 50´s and I could´t help but think that sometimes we limit ourselves of doing certain things because of "what others may think" I mean, fun has no age limit and we definitley should stop thinking about someone else's opinions, if it makes you happy just do it!
I regret not taking more pictures but I was just so caught up in the moment I kinda forgot about everything else. And I share with you this quote that I really like and I think it just fits perfectly with this photo:

“Happiness is like soap bubbles. It comes in small fragile doses, transparent and gentle, that you can’t catch, or hold forever. You have to learn to recognize the moment, to embrace it and when the bubble pops and the moment is over, to choose whether to remember it or not.
The miserable people are the ones who think that happiness is a permanent state. They waste half of their lives trying to find it, and the other half being disappointed that they can’t, while there are many little soap bubbles floating in the air around them, but they don’t ever see them.”
