Marea baja.

Hoy me sacó mi perro a pasear. La verdad es que se lo agradecí porque estaba yo un poco rezongón después de la dura semana que tuvimos.

Con su mirada triste y su llantina me dejo claro que, si o si, íbamos a mover el esqueleto.

Me llevo a donde mas le gusta, a caminar entre el mar y las plataneras donde le encanta correr y olisquear todo lo que pilla.

Al llegar, me llamo la atención lo tranquilo que estaba el mar y lo baja que estaba la marea.
El mar se había retirado y dejaba expuestas muchas rocas cubiertas de algas. De hecho, había un cierto tufillo.

La costa en Tenetife no tiene tantas playas y las que hay, generalmente son de arena negra. Sin embargo abundan litorales de cantos rodados y plataformas volcánicas que a mi parece que también tienen su encanto.

En la marea baja se forman pequeñas piscinas donde es facil bañarse. Algunos perros aprovechan estas zonas tranquilas para darse un chapuzón y perseguir a los piececitos que allí quedaron retrasados.

Algunos se adentran por las rocas para tirar las cañas e intentar pescar algo.

Otros remueven las piedras buscando vigaros o lapas mientras algunos extienden las hamacas y leen o simplemente toman el sol con la suave brisa del mar.

La verdad es que me gustó el paseo, pero no podía alargarlo mucho mas.

Me volví antes de lo deseado porque quería ver si el Madrid conseguía la trece.

Today I took my dog for a walk. The truth is that I thanked him because I was a bit reeked after the hard week we had.

He took me where he likes most, to walk between the sea and the banana trees where he loves to run and sniff everything he catches.

Upon arriving, I was struck by how calm the sea was and how low the tide was.

The sea had retreated and left many rocks covered with algae exposed. In fact, there was a certain whiff.

The coast in Tenetife does not have as many beaches and those that do exist are usually black sand. However, there are plenty of pebbles and volcanic platforms that seem to have charm too.

At low tide, small pools form where it is easy to bathe. Some dogs take advantage of these quiet areas to take a dip and chase the little feet that were left behind.

Some enter the rocks to throw the rods and try to catch something.

Others remove the stones looking for beams or limpets while some extend the hammocks and read or simply bask in the gentle breeze of the sea

The truth is that I liked the walk, but I could not extend it much longer.

I came back earlier than I wanted because I wanted to see if Madrid got thirteen.
