The colosseum in Rome
I have been in many different cities around the world, but first time I came to Rome, I just got in love and decide to live in this beautiful city. The language the food and the history made me in love for this place. The history and the past are telling in the present in form of art.
The colosseum is one of the hotspot of the city. The Collosseum is an iconic symbol of the Imperial Rome Its construction started between 70 and 72 AD and finished in 80 AD.
Originally known as the Flavian Amphitheatre, was commisioned in AD 72 by Emperor Vespasian. It was completed by his son, Titus, in 80, with later improvements by Domitian.
Colosseum was the largest Amphitheatre ever built in the Roman Empire Jewish slaves built the Colosseum who were brought to Rome after their revolt in Judaea was suppressed Romans used the Colosseum to entertain the masses with gladiatorial contests and public spectacles such as mock sea battles, animal hunts, executions, replay of famous battles, and dramas based on Classical mythology It was capable of seating more than 50 000 spectators. Its structure is still the model for the world's sports stadiums Earthquakes, the environment, metal and stone robbers all played a part in the building's decay.
Really like the perspective and composition. Also great work with the colors. Maybe, the edges / contours have a tad too much "HDR-glow" if you know what I mean. 👍 and resteemed :)

Sorry for the very late reply. I had it in my mind, but somehow forgot.
What I meant was the glow around the contours, e.g. in the last image on the line between the blue sky and the tree in the background. The glow is results from local-adaptation tone-mapping. If you use global tone-mapping, then it may give better results and a more natural look. Play around with the values, e.g. in Lightroom. When you get something good, just save it as preset :)
