Hunting for affordable / cheap places to stay in Las Vegas
Wondering how to find places to stay in Las Vegas with more reasonable costs.
Thinking on where to stay in Las Vegas when I go there this summer as I have done in past summers. Thinking it would be easiest to just find a free place to stay in the wilderness. But finding a place with a bed, some shelter, air conditioning, and a shower seems like a better choice.
Have stayed at a variety of hotels so will look over some prices. Stayed at an Extended Stay one year. Other times bouncing between hotel rooms on my own or with people that had better deals at different places. May also explore some kind of short term apartment that I have done before too.
One option is staying downtown near Freemont street at Queen's for as low as $25 / night for playing Binion's. Some weekly places have rates of about $149 to $199 for the week that include a fair amount of amenities. Some places also offer discounted rates to poker players or of course gamblers. So may try to find ore info in this direction.
Here are some of the deals I have found from looking at what may be potentially available in about two months from now:
GOLDEN GATE HOTEL & CASINO ... $25
With many hotels to prices in the $100's price range that are very beautiful rooms that I gambler or just a poker player may not be able to afford to stay in. There is also the option of an Extended Stay America:
EXTENDED STAY AMERICA ... +/- $50+ / night
This price along with others depends on when and where one will be staying with numerous locations in Las Vegas. Will have to keep looking. Also thinking of traveling else where in the meantime wishing I could use STEEM to travel with. Would be reat if SteemStays was available and I could stay at places for Steem like fellow Steemians.
May also consider couch surfing. Great way to stay with someone for less and e in touch with daily life as opposed to poker player way of life. Maybe I could find someone to stay with and help out during my stay as I had found in Maryland. Will explore these possibilities as well.
