香港遊踪 #9 – 葵涌運動埸吃不停|Hong Kong To Walk #9 – Non-stop eating at Kwai Chung Sports Ground

Hello everyone! Welcome to the Hong Kong to walk volume 9. Thanks for your support in this series. Do you remember we have visited the Hong Kong Science Museum last time? And did you gain your interest in the science subject? After 3 museum posts, I would like to bring you guys back to the outdoor area, which is the Kwai Chung Sports Ground. However, we are not going to do exercise, but eating!

大家好！歡迎來到香港遊踪的第九步。很感謝大家一直對這個系列的支持，上一次我們去了香港科學館參觀它們的常設展覽，不知道有沒有增加大家對科學的興趣？經過一連三個關於博物館的帖子後，就讓我們來一點戶外活動吧。所以今次我想要帶大家去一個戶外的地方，而且不只有逛，還有吃的！就請大家跟我來─香港食品嘉年華。

The Hong Kong Food Carnival Fair has been held for 5 years, and this is the sixth year of the event. And it is held in Kwai Chung Sports Ground this year again. The location of Kwai Chung Sports Ground is actually just opposite to the Kwai Chung Plaza. You can walk through the footbridge on the 2nd floor of the Kwai Chung Plaza. When you walk across the road, Kwai Chung Sports Ground would be just in your left hand side. You can refer to my previous Kwai Chung Plaza post if you are interested in it. And you will see different sign along the path when you walk to the fair.

香港食品嘉年華今年已經是第六屆舉辦了，跟往年一樣，在葵涌運動埸舉行。葵涌運動埸的位置其實就剛剛好在葵涌廣埸的對面，大家可以在葵涌廣煬的二樓，經過行人天橋橫過馬路，然後葵涌運動埸就在你的左手面。大家有興趣的話可以參考我關於葵涌廣煬的帖子。沿途你都會看到指示指引你會場的入口:

下面的照片是排隊購票進埸的人群，大家可以看到其實人流也不少的：

For those above 65 years old or need special help, you can enter by the special entrance. So, don’t worry about it if you need help:

65歲或有特別需要的人士可以由特別通道進場，所以有特別需要的人士不用擔心：

There are a lot of different kinds of food was sold in the different stall, it almost cover everything. Let me introduce some to you.

會埸中有許多不攤檔在售賣不同類型的食品，可以說是應有盡有。就讓我為大家提供一點照片作為參考吧！

There are stall selling nuts:

有各種乾果的攤檔:

And stall selling Chinese Sausage:

也有秋冬最愛的臘味:

Also stall selling Chinese tea:

又有各樣茶類:

And different kinds of mushroom:

亦有各種菌類:

Of course some frozen seafood:

還有冰鮮的海產:

And there are even fresh fruit:

什至連新鮮的水果都有:

And of course stall selling hot food:

當然少不了熟食的攤檔啦:

And what’s more important is most of the stall providing sample for you to try. So, you don’t have to worry that you will buy something you don’t like. And the organizer has made an area to introduce organic farming. You may have a look if you are interested in it.

而重點是大部份的攤檔都提供試食，所以大家不用怕買了不合口味的東西回家。而大會也設置了一個區域去介紹有機種植，大家有興趣的話可以看一看。

And there are some game booths in the fair, so you don’t have to worry that your kids get boring.

而且大會也在場內設置了幾個遊戲攤檔，帶小孩的人不用怕小孩子會悶了。

At last, there is one thing to remind you guys that you will get a leaflet when you enter the fair. And there was a page for stamp collecting.

最後提醒大家，在大家入場的時候，大會會派發一張場刊給大家，而場刊當中有一個蓋印收集頁。

You can find different stamp point as the photo below to collect the stamps.

大家可以在場內找尋不同的蓋印點去收集印章，就如同下圖的參考一樣。

If you have collected 6 different stamps you will be able to go to the lucky draw counter to have a lucky draw. And don’t ask me what is the prize, as I have drawn a “Good Luck”, then I have no mood to search what is the rest of the prize.

收集好6個不同的印章後，大家就可以去抽奬處去抽奬了。可是別問我有什麼奬品，因為我最後只抽到了“祝君好運”，馬上就沒有心情去看還有什麼奬品了。希望大家的抽奬運不會像我這麼差吧。
