'Back To The Past'

At the edge of the woods, I stumble upon a campfire. But, this is not an ordinary camp site. More like a time travel thing deep into the past. I like costumed history reenactments.



There is something charming about it. People forget their jobs, lives, problems, dress up and go to the woods to enjoy different times in a romanticized manner. They prepare the food in the old ways and savour the moment of pretending that the past times are back.

Genuine food is on the table. The costumes are thought through to the last detail. The middle ages vibe is in the air. A time when life was measured by completely different standards. The church loved to hunt and torture witches, for example.

The middle ages were anything but romantic. However, the human tendency to find the best in everything made it possible to enjoy it. Then again, who can guarantee that the middle ages were dark indeed? We know that history books are often misleading and the truth is often elsewhere than we were told.

Until we build time machines and go see for ourselves, this is the closest we get to feel those times. Therefore, I prefer to enjoy the happy camper's version. :-)

The brain is the central organ of almost any activity in your body, including a role in making your life happier. But there are other things that can make your brain react so you can feel happier, one of them is by walking or traveling to nature.

Taking the time for a walk into the woods and enjoying the fresh and beautiful long gave a lot of positive influence on the brain. Here are some of them.

Releasing stress A study found that students who spend time traveling to the forest turned out to have lower stress levels than their friends who just spend time in the house. Similarly, office workers who more often look trees out the window feel more satisfied with the work than those who only watch tv.

Improving Short-term Memory Brain The brain regulates long-term and short-term memory, usually people who are too often stressed will easily forget the things that just do or the loss of short-term memory. Research at the University of Michigan shows that otrang that travel to the forest or nature can improve memory, especially short-term memory.

Looks good! It feels like you're back in the days of Robin Hood. In reality, I happened to see something like this with my own eyes. Once a year in a small city, a knightly festival is held. The participants of the festival live in a tent camp made in accordance with the old time. I like to see how these people during the festival are immersed in the atmosphere of the Middle Ages. They forget about the existence of modernity and have fun. Cook the food on fire, drink natural mead, hold demonstration fights. At this time, the whole city turns into a medieval arena. I like to be in such places and feel this wonderful atmosphere. It's something special that forces you to throw your thoughts back and enjoy the moment. Being in nature has a positive effect on modern people. It calms the nerves and gives strength.
