'Are These Dolls Scary or Not?'

crta.png

Sometimes dolls have scary features. Usually, it is porcelain dolls that create odd feelings for me. Their dead-like appearance freaks me out. These ones, however scary appearing at the first sight, don't evoke any negative feelings. On the contrary, I don't mind being taken to their world of playful fantasy.

I wonder why these dolls with their uneven faces, straw hair and overall shabby look don't freak me out at all. Maybe it is the lack of reality dimension. These are highly stylized and, I believe, it takes the edge off. Good. :-)

You'll probably not believe that these were created by kindergarten children. That simple fact changes the point of view, right? I can imagine the efforts of their teacher who has probably spent days conceiving the idea and helping them make it. Well done!

I very much like the details. All of these figures have interesting distinguishing features. The colours are very vivid and leave a strong impact. Apart from human-like figures, there is also a pony and a baby in a cradle.

It is quite inspiring, to be honest. Maybe some of you decide to create your own dolls. It is not very difficult, so I've heard. Even kindergarten kids do it. :D

Enjoy your day! :-)

Confidence in children can actually be trained from an early age by giving children freedom when exploring the environment. Childhood is a time when the child has a great curiosity about whatever he sees.

Avoid too many restrictions or restrictions that prevent children from playing and doing activities, let their curiosity develop which will make it easier to sharpen their creativity and confidence.

In addition to exploratory activities in play, children can be introduced early in the course of appropriate talents and interests of children such as an interest in sports and arts, encouraging children to see sports, theater, fashion shows, music and discussions with children so that children can know their interests in areas that they really like.

Kindergartners? Really? I'm impressed. Seriously. I seem to remember a project from about then where my father asked what it was (a rabbit). He guessed dog and pony first :)

Pretty creative stuff there, I love to see it. Thanks for your attention to the detail of it.

These dolls reminded me of the cartoon works that I saw on TV in the 90s. It was something between a cartoon and reality. That is, it does not look like what the children see now. Humanoid cartoon figures (usually people, less often animals or fictional characters) looked as if they were molded from the clay. Minimum graphics and maximum realism and manual work. Honestly admit these cartoons did not cause disgust, but on the contrary they were interesting.

The same thing I can say about these dolls. They do not impose disgust or fear. They caused me nostalgic memories. I do not know why, perhaps because of those cartoons. Nevertheless, the children made efforts and imagination to make them. This is respected. Especially considering the fact that modern children are seldom addicted to such creativity.
Thank you

Hola @velimir
Interesante tu trabajo y tu opinión al respecto.
Me parecen trabajos geniales.

Lol, you've not seen scary yet until u see and African doll... I bet you'd have a nightmare when u give a closer look.

Excelentes fotografías. Estos niños tienen interés en esta actividad son brillantes, tienen talentos van a ser grandes artistas.hay que dar al niño aliento y estímulo, mientras más elogios, más se sentirá confiado. Evite criticarlos y seras geniales
