Cave "Prohodna" or where they shot "Turkish Gambit". Bulgaria
The cave "Prohodna" is often called "Turn on God" / "Bless the eyes" - "the eyes of God."
Not everyone attributes these eyes to God, some to the devil :-) In general, who sees what.
The official name of this rock formation is "Cave Prohodna". Probably because it can be penetrated right through - this is such a natural tunnel under the ground, and on the surface, indeed, there is a road. True rural.
This is a wonderful place 110 kilometers away from Sofia in the ecological park Iskar-Panega, in the karst area called "Karlukovsky Break" - in this very break about 280 caves and caves of various shapes and sizes. Of course, not all of them can be visited as freely as the passage cave. The length of this particular cave is 262 meters, width is from 15 to 25 meters.
One entrance / exit of this cave has a height of 35 meters, and the other - 45. From the last jump on the bungee. On one of the photos it is visible, if you look closely.
Since 1962, the cave "Prohodna" is a natural landmark of Bulgaria and therefore there are always visitors. But despite the fact that this is a protected area, some manage to shoot a movie here. For example, "Turkish Gambit" and "He-dragon". Foreigners also do not miss a chance
When it rains, through the "eyes" in the cave's arch water flows, as if someone is crying.
