Soledad Canyon Trail, Las Cruces, NM
It's in the Organ Mountains east of Las Cruces, a bit south of Dripping Springs. Me and Ms. Barkley hiked it a few days ago.
It's about 3 miles round-trip and ends at the Baylor Canyon Waterfall. The water feeds into a masoned tank from ranchin' days.
Ain't too hard a trail. Smooth, maintained path. Main thing it starts at about 6,000 ft (1,800 m), and ya go up 550 ft (150 m) in about 1.5 miles (2 km), so it'll wear ya out more than walkin' the mall.
If ya wanna hike it, just Google "Soledad Canyon Las Cruces." Alltrails.com and other hikin' sites got maps and directions.

Obviously not running real strong right now. I've seen photos where it's gushing. On the right side is the masoned cistern / tank.

Cool story, bro.
Diggin' the pics! How long have you been travelling in the van for?
About 2.5 years

Cool! There was an update today, you can check that out on @steemitworldmap's blog.
That is a cool hike. I was up there about 30 years ago. hasnt changed much, still looks awesome.
Rugged country.
Very much so. A lot of the rock is volcanic. Super tough on tires when you take the unpaved backroads.
Lol, around these parts that waterfall is positively flowing strong. Lovely area, looks like a great place to lose yourself from the modern world for a while!
