Chiricahua National Monument
Looking at the hoodoos (rock pillars) of Chiricahua National Monument from the Massai overlook, about 7000 ft (2100 m). The monument is in the Chiricahua Mountains of southeastern Arizona, USA, about 115 m (200 km) east of Tucson. The hoodoos' rock is volcanic rhyolite tuff that has been eroded down over the ages.
