San Francisco & Point Reyes
My brother had to fly back to NY for a contract in the Adirondacks so my mom and I took him to San Francisco to fly out. I've never been to San Francisco before. We walked around the north side a little, went out on pier 39, and got a bite to eat. Got to see Alcatraz, the golden gate and all that from a distance. Nice skyline, but I'm not really into cities. After that my mom and I headed for the hills, up to Point Reyes. After crossing the golden gate bridge, we got on 1 north and took that to Point Reyes. It was fairly windy and a bit of a drive. We drove down to the end of the peninsula near the lighthouse. The land was all much more brown than I was expecting, I figured there would be more green. The water on the other hand had a very nice color.
