Здравствуйте, Стимеры!🔆  Мне хотелось бы рассказать вам, как мы добрались до Черного моря в Батуми.   Эта история – продолжение рассказа о моем первом путешествии автостопом по прекрасной стране – Грузии. Если вам интересно начать чтение с первой части, ссылки на предыдущие посты я оставлю в конце этой статьи.    

🔼 The coast of the Black Sea

As you remember we were at the point where we said goodbye to Zura and decided to go on to the sea through the city of Kutaisi. We got in touch with our friends Masha and Lesha with whom you are already familiar. They were in a camp near the village of Buknari not far from Batumi and called us to join them. 

Как вы помните, мы остановились на том, как простились с Зурой и его семьей и направились к морю.  Мы списались с нашими друзьями Лёшей и Машей. Они остановились в палаточном лагере рядом с поселком Букнари и позвали нас присоединиться к ним. 

The road to Kutaisi was so picturesque that the time has flown by. There were a staggering beautiful mountains touching the sky, the colorful meadows, rivers and waterfalls. 

 Дорога до Кутаиси и дальше была настолько живописной, что время пролетело незаметно. Потрясающе красивые горы, которые упираются в небо, разноцветные луга, реки, водопады.

We reached our destination when it got dark. First of all we went swimming in the sea. It was a great evening: waves, wind, sounds of the sea… There were guys from Bulgaria, Poland, Georgia in the camp. We easy found a common language although it was evident that all of us were completely different people.

 Мы добрались до лагеря, когда уже стемнело и, первым делом, решили искупаться в море. Это был отличный вечер. Волны, ветер, шум моря... В кемпинге были ребята из Болгарии, Польши, из самой Грузии. Все очень легко находили общий язык, хоть и было видно, что это совершенно разные люди.  

🔼 Huge pine cones

After all, the sea is very relaxing. We had an excellent mood, but very lazy. We stayed in Buknari for two days and then went to Batumi. We stayed with our friend Levan there.  He used to live and study in Arkhangelsk but there were circumstances that his family had to return to Georgia. We have been his first guests from Arkhangelsk and he has been our guide for Batumi.

 Все-таки море очень расслабляет. Настроение было отличное, но такое ленивое, что останься мы в Букнари чуть дольше, сил уехать просто не осталось бы.  И вот, через два дня мы доехали до Батуми и остановились у нашего друга – Левана. Раньше он жил и учился в нашем родном Архангельске, но так сложились обстоятельства, что его семье пришлось вернуться в Грузию. Мы стали его первыми гостями из Архангельска, а он нашим гидом по Батуми=) 

🔼 Batumi seaside

Batumi is an amazing modern city. There are an astounding amount of absolutely futuristic buildings, remarkable buildings and monuments of contemporary architecture there. Even McDonalds is a real masterpiece of architecture. 

Вообще, Батуми - это удивительный современный город. Он поражает количеством абсолютно футуристических строений. Даже McDonalds здесь настоящий шедевр архитектуры.  

🔼 McDonald's in Batumi

Probably one of the most memorable buildings is a 130-meter-high tower called Alphabetic Tower. It is all-metal structure is similar to the design of DNA. The tower is surround all 33 letters of the Georgian alphabet that symbolizes the uniqueness of Georgian alphabet and people. But while in the tower is nothing and it is closed to visitors.

Наверное, одним из самых запоминающихся зданий является 130-метровая башня. Это полностью металлическое строение, которое лентами опоясывают все 33 буквы грузинского алфавита, представляет собой конструкцию, схожую с клеточным ДНК. Но пока в башне ничего нет, и она закрыта для посетителей. Возможно, здесь будет ресторан или обсерватория, но это только догадки. 

🔼A view to the city of Batumi

Even today, Batumi does not stop changing its appearance. New buildings with totally incredible forms are being built. There are palms, cypresses, magnolias, orange trees at every step.

Даже сегодня Батуми не прекращает менять свой облик, строятся все новые здания совершенно невероятных форм. На каждом шагу здесь пальмы, кипарисы, магнолии, апельсиновые деревья.

We walked around the night Batumi with Levan. When the sun goes down, thousands of lights begin shining all over the city. The illumination highlights trees, buildings and skyscrapers, and musical fountains begin their beautiful show. It was wonderful evening again. 

С Леваном мы гуляли по ночному Батуми. Когда садится солнце, весь центр города зажигается тысячами огней. Подсвечиваются деревья, включается иллюминация на домах и небоскребах, а поющие фонтаны начинают свои красивейшие шоу.

We ate so delicious khinkali, took pics, jumped on a trampoline, laughed and joked with each other. When we returned home it was hard to believe that we passed more than 10 km that evening.  

Еще мы ели ооочень вкусные хинкали, фотографировались, прыгали на батуте, смеялись, шутили друг над другом. Когда мы вернулись домой, было трудно поверить, что за несколько часов неспешной прогулки мы прошли больше 10 км=) 

🔼 We are together with Levan

The next day we went to the small village of Sarpi on the border with Turkey.

На следующий день мы с Леваном поехали в небольшое село Сарпи и купались прямо на границе с Турцией.

And in the evening we were sitting around the table eating incredible lobio with all Levan's friendly family. We were talking about Arkhangelsk, its changes and something new. It was very sincere, warm and calm evening.

Levan! Thank you again! We had a great time, so much remembered, so much laughed! We send our regards to all of you! In fact, we couldn't believe that there is so open and sincere people. It's amazing. And this is no exception to the rule. It is typical for most. Thank you for your hospitality, Georgia!

Леван! Спасибо тебе еще раз!=) Мы отлично провели время, столько всего вспомнили, столько смеялись! Передавай всем огромный привет! На самом деле, даже не верится, что есть настолько открытые и душевные люди.. Это удивительно.. И это не исключение из правил, а характерно для большинства. Спасибо за гостеприимство, Грузия!

P.S. And also we sent postcards from Batumi to our friends and relatives. And what about you guys? Do you like postcards? I am currently in Arkhangelsk. I'd love to sent a postcard from here to any place in the world. And I certainly would love to receive a reply :) 

P.S. А еще из Батуми мы отправили открытки своим друзьям и близким. А вы любите получать открытки? Сейчас я в Архангельске, и с удовольствием бы отправила открытку отсюда в любой уголок земли! И с таким же удовольствием получила бы ответную:)
