ANTIQUE SHOPPING IN EXETER
Sometimes it's nice to find something with some history and I love checking out antiqe shops, I have been visiting family and got to check out Quay antiques in Exeter, it's right by the river Exe and has stunning views of the river and lots of different stalls owned by different antique dealers with various themes. I loved this little monk dolls collection!
There was lots of antique jewellery and toys, train sets, and other little finds :)
They have a cute little cafe where you can get tea and cakes
Whilst in Exeter if your interested in antiques they have a charity antique shop just a few yards away for hospis care with a lot of old books and other items, I loved the collection of old bibles and the little punch and judy style figures! They also had some ancient chinese coins, you can grab an antique bargain and help charity at the same time!
some of my best memories are antiquing with my dad on weekends or when we were on a family vaction... and of course getting the "Don't, touch ANYTHING." talk as kids lol
hahah i stumbled a bit when I walked in and i just cringed as i imagined the whole shop going down!!!! I thinkt hey would have gone away thinking young ppl today or something lol
Well they also pack stores like that to the absolute gills! It's a clumsy-gal nightmare really ;)
:)
hahaha eek! I've been there MANY times, trust me. Oh and THINKING about being careful makes it WAY worse
hahaha yeah thats SO true, i walked in a tripped over the mat and i could see everyone was on edge luckily regained myself after that ahhahaha
