Bangkok 曼谷

I have been to Bangkok several times, and this time I am put up at the Tide Resort. Certainly, Bangkok is a metropolitan city with its attraction for many tourists. The people visit a tourist destination have their own expectations. I personally find that Bangkok is a beautiful place and the people are gentle. As a developing nation, Bangkok apparently has overcome the question of survival. The people are quite religious, which shows that they believe that life is not just about survival. They certainly desire to have peace. I do hope that Bangkok will become a truly peaceful land.

Thailand is also well known of ivory. It is illegal to conduct ivory trade. However, there are people who are superstitious in believing that ivory can protect its owner.

As the Thais and so many other people in the world are looking for peace, it is vital to know the way of peace. It is indeed good to be religious without reference to any religion as far as this article is concerned. Nevertheless, it is vital that the way we know is truly the way to peace.

Occasionally, I would talk to the GrabTaxi drivers regarding the right way. I say to them that they know the way, therefore, they are able to take me to the right destination.

Similarly, it is helpful to ponder our belief whether it is the way that will truly lead us to peace and even eternal peace.

我曾到过曼谷几次，这一趟我被安排住在潮汐度假村(Tide Resort)。曼谷是一个大都市，並且吸引了大量的游客。人们通常到一个旅游区会有自己的期望。我个人觉得曼谷是一个美丽的地方，民衆也很温和。作为一个发展中国家，曼谷这个城市显然已经克服了生存问题。人们对宗教很虔诚，这表明他们相信生活不仅仅是为了生存。他们当然会希望拥有平安，而我也希望曼谷将会長久成为一片真正和平之地。

泰国也因象牙而闻名，进行象牙贸易其实是非法的。然而，有些人因为迷信象牙可以保护它的主人而要拥有它。

由于泰国人和世界上许多人都在寻求和平，因此了解和平之路便至为重要。就本文而言，具有宗教信仰乃是好事。然而，我们所拥有的伩仰之路是否能够带来真正的和平呢？其实这的确是人类应该探索的问题。

有时，我会和 Grab 计程车司机谈谈所谓伩仰之路。我指出他们因为知道所要经过的道路，因此，他们能够把我带到正确的目的地。

同样的，我们的信仰是否真正能够实现和平什至能從中使我们獲得永恒的和平呢？这乃是我们在人生中必须探讨的事。
