Baggage 行李

When it is time to travel, there is a need to get ready the baggage. Packing baggage can be a delicate task. If we bring too many items including clothing and supplies, it may cost money to pay for the extra weight. It may also be a waste of energy because there are packed items being unused throughout the trip.

How much should we pack when we travel? Ideally we only bring what is necessary lest what is not necessary would become the encumbrance.

Likewise, we do not need to own too many things in life. We may not use what we have accumulated throughout our life. Worse still, what we regard as precious may turn out to be garbage for others. In order to avoid wasting what has been collected, it is better to give away the collected items for people who really need them. As it is said, “It is better to give than to receive.”

To be wise people, we have to make good choice in our pursuit. We will only gather what we can utilise. Even when accumulation becomes necessary, it should become useful heritage for other people.

到了出门的时候，经常需要准备好行李，而收拾行李必竟是一项微妙的任务。如果我们带備了太多东西，包括衣服和用品，可能後来需要花钱来支付额外的重量。它也可能造成浪费力气，因为有些东西到行程结束时都没有使用。

我们旅行时应该有多少装備呢？理想情况下，我们只需带備必要的东西以避免不必要的东西成为累赘。

同样的，我们的生活通常不需要太多东西；我们可能最后都不会使用好些一生努力积存的东西。更糟糕的是我们认为珍贵的东西，结果可能对其他人是如同垃圾。为了避免浪费所收取的东西，最好能将所收获的送给真正需要它们的人；因为”施比受更为有福!”

要成为智慧的人，我们必须在追求任何东西时能够基于正确的选择。我们应该收取可以使用的东西，即使有必要加以收蔵，这些东西则会成为对其他人有用的遗产。
