The mystical island of Es Vedra, ibiza

The 3rd most magnetic place on  planet earth...

Considered to have creative inspiring and positive healing energy, this inhabited rock has blown me away since the first time I ever laid eyes on it. I love it so much i decided to set up camp here a few years ago. But i am certainly not the only person to have been put under its mysterious charm.  Surrounded with myths and stories about this gigantic beauty i began to do some research because it seems everybody has a different yet weirdly similar opinion and feeling. Due to extremely high concentrations of metals and minerals the rock island Es Vedra creates a highly magnetic field, resulting into 3rd most magnetic place on the globe, it disturb compasses in the surrounding area and also may influence more sensitive individuals.

Spirituality

 Many spiritual practices and ceremonys still take place along the western coastline where Es vedra is visible from cliff edges and hills. Hippies still live in caves and there are even fresh water springs you can drink from. Its all a bit surreal when you think people come here to party hard during the summer seasons.  Es Vedra’s mystical stories go way back 1000’s of years with stories of sea Nyphms and mermaids calling the rock island home.  Es Vedra is also known to be the sacred birth place of of Tanit, who is known as the goddess and protector of woman and is well documented in the Ibizan history books.

There have been endless UFO sightings around Es Vedra, I have seen a fair few peculiar things going on up there myself and so have many others who live around the area. Including the famous Guy Labierte, the Canadian multi millionaoire and founder of the Cirque De Soliel who built 13 giant monaliths next to his mansion over looking Es Vedra after his trip to space in 2009. He called the monoliths 'Time and Space'. They look similar to stone henge UK.

Atlantis

Atlantis is a wonder of its own but also just so happens to be located d opposite Es Vedra, Its quite a climb down a steep cliff to get to but is also accessible by boat. The cut cliff creates pools of water and its the best place for walkers and explorers. It is thought to be a stone quarry that was carved out by the Phoenicians for use as building material on Dalt Vila, the castle in the old town of Ibiza. Though it has the same name as the mythical undersea city of the same name, which ties in with the myths but some say the stone here was built to build pyramids. Nobody actually knows but it is one of the coolest places in ibiza a great meditation spot.
