Paddle Tennis
Paddle Tennis is super popular down here in Southern California. There are a bunch of courts right on the beach, right in the middle of everything. Just a few blocks down you can hear the people working out on Muscle Beach, but here all you can hear is the POP sound the ball makes coming off the racquet. Plus a little trash talk.
A very competitive sport among friends down here. Everyone takes it very serious, but at the same time it's all in good fun. A friendly competition you could say, but don't get it confused, everyone down here is keeping score and keeping track of their wins and losses. I bet there are some standings printed and posted somewhere down here, just have to search for them.
