Water, the elixir of life - these women know what they are talking about. - - Wasser, das Lebenselexier – Diese Frauen wissen wovon sie reden

We've been in the desert for two days now. That's why we didn't get any mail yesterday. Because there's no Internet out there. That's why it was kind of a forced break with Steemit.

On the way to the desert we met the local women who were on their way to fetch water in the metal bowls. Because here, so far outside and far away from all of civilization, there is no running water from the pipe.

The desert with its sand dunes is about 50 km from the town of Jaisalmer. We went there by motorcycle. A royal Enfield. But that's another mail. This is about the water, the element that gives life.

We quickly realized how important the water out here is. It dries quickly and the skin becomes dry. On top of that, the almost 40 degrees which are currently prevailing. In 2 months it will be almost 50 degrees during the day, we have learned. Without water the body dries up quickly and then it is over.

My lips have dried up quickly, especially due to the headwind with the motorcycle to the desert.

Every day and several times a day, the women fetch the water with their bowls from the well, which is a few hundred meters outside of the village. But why is it outside of town? I assume it's for protection against impurities. The lid is also put on each time, so that no animal falls into it and the water is poisoned.

It was the same in Europe many years ago. Well where we got the water. The way into the desert had shown us what life was like a few years ago. Water was not wasted or poisoned. Because it was the element of life that it still is today. Unfortunately we have forgotten how important water is for all living beings in the world. Some people also think that the water is their property..... but it's not. It comes and goes, that is the natural course of water and of all living beings.

Wir waren nun 2 Tagen Lang in der Wüste unterwegs. Deshalb kam gestern auch kein Post von uns. Denn da draußen gibt es kein Internet. Aus diesem Grund war es eine Art Zwangspause mit Steemit.

Auf dem Weg zur Wüste haben wir die Einheimischen Frauen getroffen, welche gerade unterwegs waren um in den Metallschalen Wasser zu holen. Denn hier so weit draußen und entfernt von all der Zivilisation gibt es kein Fließesenden Wasser aus der Leitung.

Die Wüste mit den Sanddünen liegt ca. 50 km von der Stadt Jaisalmer entfernt. Wir sind mit dem Motorrad hingefahren. Einer royal Enfield. Aber das ist ein anderer Post. Hier geht es um das Wasser, das Element welches Leben schenkt.

Wir haben schnell gemerkt, wie wichtig das Wasser hier draussen ist. Schnell ist man ausgetrocknet und die Haut wird auch trocken. Dazu noch die fast 40 Grad welche gerade herrschen. In 2 Monaten wird es hier tagsüber fast 50 Grad sein, haben wir erfahren. Ohne Wasser ist der Körper schnell vertrocknet und dann ist es vorbei.

Meine Lippen sind schnell trocken geworden, vor allem auch noch durch den Fahrtwind mit dem Mottorad zur Wüste hin.

Die Frauen holen jeden Tag und dies auch mehrmals pro Tag mit ihren Schalen das Wasser aus dem Brunnnen, der ein paar Hundert Meter ausserhalb vom Ort liegt. Warum liegt er aber außerhalb vom Ort? Ich nehme an, dass es zum Schutz gegen Verunreinigungen ist. Es wird auch jedes Mal der Deckel drauf gesetzt, damit kein Tier hineinfällt und das Wasser dann vergiftet ist.

So war es in Europa auch vor vielen Jahren. Brunnen, an denen wir das Wasser geholt haben. Der Weg in die Wüste hatte uns gezeigt, wie das Leben vor einigen Jahren bei uns auch war. Wasser wurde nicht verschwendet und vergiftet. Denn es war das Element des Lebens, welches es heute immer noch ist. Nur leider haben wir durch den Konsum vergessen wie wichtig das Wasser für alle Lebewesen auf der Welt ist. Manche denken ja auch, dass das Wasser ihr Eigentum sei.... ist es aber nicht. Es kommt und geht, das ist der natürliche Lauf des Wassers und von allen Lebewesen.
