Let's get going. As promised the 5 star hotel in the south of Sri Lanka. The Mariott Hotel in Weligama. We often drove past it and thought about what it would look like inside. Shortly we looked at each other and so we went to the Mariott Hotel Essen together in the evening.

In this post we show you what it looks like in the hotel complex. Beautifully and luxuriously furnished. Plenty of space and a beautifully shaped pool. As a guest for dinner you are allowed to use the facility. Otherwise a fee will be charged for guests who only come to relax and swim. In our enquiry we were told that our guests have priority. So, if the hotel is full or the evening buffet of the hotel guests is already quite laid out, you have to come another day. Sounds understandable too.

As we used to be there before the dinner, we got a special tour and were allowed to see and photograph the rooms and the spacious restaurant with outdoor seating.

The 5 star Mariott Hotel has only been open for 3 months. The price per night is about 250 USD. During the opening phase, a special price of USD 150 per night was offered.

Es geht los. Wie versprochen das 5 Sterne Hotel im Süden von Sri Lanka. Das Mariott Hotel in Weligama. Wir sind oft daran vorbei gefahren und haben uns immer gedacht wie es innen wohl aussehen wird. Kurz uns gegenseitig angeschaut und so sind wir dann am Abend zusammen ins Mariott Hotel Essen gegangen.

In diesem Post zeigen wir euch wie es in der Hotelanlage aussieht. Wunderschön und luxuriös eingerichtet. Viel Platz und einen sehr schön geformten Pool. Als Gast zum Dinner darfst du die Anlage mitbenutzen. Ansonsten wird eine Gebühr erhoben für Gäste, die nur zum Ausruhen und schwimmen kommen. Bei unserer Nachfrage wurde uns bestätigt, dass die eigenen Gäste Vorrang haben. Ist also die Anlage voll oder das Abendbuffet von den Hotelgästen schon ziemlich ausgelegt, muss man einen anderen Tag kommen. Klinkt auch verständlich.

Da wir früher vor Ort waren als das Dinner geöffnet hatte, haben wir eine Sondertour bekommen und durften die Zimmer und das überaus großräumige Restaurant mit Außenbestuhlung ansehen und fotografieren.

Das 5 Sterne Mariott Hotel ist erst seit 3 Monaten geöffnet. Der Preis pro Nacht liegt bei ca. 250 USD. Während der Eröffnungsphase ist ein special Preis von 150 USD pro Nacht angeboten worden.
