Lago De Coatepeque in El Salvador
Lago De Coatepeque is a large crater lake we traveled to right outside of Santa Ana, El Salvador. The lake was formed inside of what used to be a volcano. There are even hot springs near the lake margins. This is one of the largest lakes in El Salvador and in the middle is an island called Teopan, which was a Mayan site of importance.
