TRAVeLMaN LIVERPOOL, UK: A Short Stop in the Childhood home of The Beatles!

I spent a half hour in Liverpool. My bus from Oxford, England to Bangor, Wales stopped there.

Lucky for me the bus station was across the street from many of the Liverpool attractions at Pier Head. That white building in the Pic below is the Museum of Liverpool. A Beatles museum, The Beatles Story, was also on this Pier. I only had enough time to snap some pics and run into a fancy restaurant to use their facilities. I would’ve enjoyed the museum, I’m a big Beatles fan.

It was cold on that Pier! The wind chill made it feel like 1 degree Celsius. Even though it was cold, the crazy locals were buying ice cream cones from a vendor on the pier. They must really be ready for summer

They also had a Ferris wheel further down the pier...

I went looking for a coffee back near my bus stop. This crazy looking building was at the intersection...

These guys were playing near the Starbucks. They were great. This is them doing a Ska version of Sweet Dreams (Are made of these...).

I laughed to myself when I overheard a few people talking. They really did sound like various members of the Beatles. It makes perfect sense, but still... It was funny, like most everyone was a Beatles impersonator. Like if you went to Memphis and everyone sounded like Elvis.

It was a lucky stop and made me kind of want to stay for “A hard day’s night.” (Rimshot, please)
