It's very sad about the Palau beach as we imagined travelling to the Pacific islands to have the beach right there! However, an hour extra by boat isn't bad to get a beach like that!
It's on our bucket list to do all those islands, but it will be quite pricey, so saving up.
Yeah, Palau is definitely not cheap but it's really worth it. I highly recommend taking a short flight over the islands. We found that Palau is most beautiful when seen from above. Make sure you book the flights well in advance!
Thanks for the tip! However, we don't think we will be visiting these islands anytime soon as we're getting to the age of 'wedding season', so saving up for trips to South Africa, Italy, Japan, etc. for friends' weddings. Yet, we'll keep taking a short flight over the islands in mind when we are planning our trip there. Thanks again!
