Bellow Oia Castle – the Byzantine ruins we named the best place to watch the magical Santorini sunset – there’s an old fishing port turned into a sea food paradise. This place is called Amoudi Bay, and there you can find several restaurants that will make you wish you would have a bigger stomach…

Here, you can try the famous lobster with spaghetti (which delighted people like Oprah Winfrey, who appears in some photos in one of the restaurants), but we also recommend the red fish.
You can enjoy the view and listen to the waves while having a fantastic dinner, specially if you’re on the right company! Such a magic place it is. We strongly recommend that you visit it… You won’t regret, we promise you!

Of course, if you prefer a quieter place for a sunset, rather than climbing to the Oia Castle ruins, you can also come down to Amoudi Bay, make a reservation for two and just enjoy life…
