The Backpack Girl #8 - Jama Masjid, Delhi
Hey guys!
Today I want to share with you all some photos of my recent travel to Jama Masjid which is one of the largest mosques in India and a very popular tourist place for anyone visiting Delhi.
This mosque was built by the emperor Shah Jahan who is also popular to have built the Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world. The construction of this mosque took place between 1644 and 1656, so this is a really historical place.
It is important that when we travel to any place, we learn about its culture, history and the people. Right now, I am doing the same as I travel across the northern regions of India. I clicked a lot of photos of the mosque and I hope you guys enjoy them :)

Delhi is a great place. Not just the seat of power but also centre of great history and heritage ! So many cultures, stories, traditions and dimensions co-exist here. This is my city of work and I feel it in me. There is an indescribable essence of Delhi . Nice pics of Jama Masjid. Food is great here. Did you taste it , @travel-cuisine :)
