Hamburg Miniatur Wunderland Part 2 - EN
Hello Friends,
In the second part of the Miniatur Wunderland of Hamburg's Speicherstadt I would like to give you more pictures and insights into this masterpiece. In the first part of my report we started with some pictures from "Little Italy" and I would like to continue here today.
First of all a close-up of the Trevi Fountain. From close up you can see how much attention to detail is made here on the models. The fountain nestles beautifully against Palazzo Poli and the rooms on the left upper floor are even illuminated.
The next picture shows a model of the Spanish staircase in Rome. Here, too, a lot of love was put into the work and the model with the many figures was given a certain vitality. Maybe one of you will find a mandatory pickpocket in the crowd :-)
The next three pictures show the Italian Amalfi coast, as well as Little Rimini and the Castello Aragonese.
The steep coast of the Amalfi coast at the Gulf of Salerno is very beautifully modeled.
The next picture shows a typical beach section of the Italian city Rimini.
In this picture we see a model of the Castello Aragonese, an old fortress located on an island near the city of Ischia.
The last picture from "Little Italy" shows Vesuvius at night. Here the eruption of the volcano is played with a small show in which the light is dimmed. This is made very worth seeing. Here, clouds of smoke rise and a rumbling sounds through the room.
Little Italy" alone occupies 190m2 of the area of the Miniatur Wunderland and took four years of work at a cost of over four million euros.
Here is another YouTube video about Italy in Miniatur Wunderland:
