Travel with TJ #1- Ireland, Galway - Shop Street's Food, Bars and Buskers

Dear Steemians, this is my travel experience through Galway, Ireland and its around bustling "Shop Street". Am having an amazing trip so far and hope to show you this cool Shop street through my lens (Samsung Galaxy S7 ) :)

About : Shop street is Galways main shopping strip a.k.a life line and is surrounded by ancient buildings and deep history. You will find some amazing pubs, restaurants, food & crafts market, street performers, buskers and much more. It feels like a never-ending carnival.

I will attempt to categorize the photos for you to navigate and hope you can visit these spots if you travel to beautiful Galway.

Irish love their alcohol and they do not stop. This pic made me laugh; the pub was full around 3 pm so these lads decided to use the roadside bin as their make shift beer stand and continue on with their drinks.

Its race week here in Galways and Irish need no excuse to dress up.

Pubs and Restaurants :
these are mostly converted from ancient building's and adds a lot of character to the place. You will find fresh food and all portions are really big, good value for money. Mc Donaghs and fat freddy's was my top pick for sea food and Italian food. There is live band playing real Irish music in all pubs, I cant follow the dialect but it is amazing to listen to and makes you simply Happy :)

Sorry I am not able to write descriptions for each photo but hope it gives a good idea of how it feels to be here in person.

Buskers and Street Performers:
There is a huge community behind these buskers, Ed Sheeren was on these streets performing as a kid. They give their heart and soul in their performance and its simply refreshing to be part of their journey.

Food & Crafts Market:
I was pleasantly surprised to find this crafts market branching off the Shop street, great paintings for cheap and some great handycrafts. This is not a huge market but does pack a punch and a good stroll to set your imagination free.
