Ios island left Greece in our hearts. The summer of 2014, I and Francesco decide to do it again, but this time changing island.
It's our week of freedom, that week of the year where we just want to forget about all our problems and routines.
One of the weeks we'll talk about for the rest of our lives.
There, in our mind, we'll be always young.
Kos
The island is this time much easier to reach, we can fly directly from Rome, even if I had to fly to Rome from Karlsruhe were I live.
As soon as we arrive we notice the big difference between this one and the Cyclades islands, no white houses and blue frames. We are much closer to Turkey than the Greek mainland, but this place has one thing in common with Ios, the well-known nightlife of the hundreds of bars present in the town.
The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed during the day. The sea is wonderful, as usual.

We really enjoy our stay, the place is at the top to relax on the beach during the daytime, and at the same time, it offers one of the funniest nightlife of entire Greece. Extra bonus, everything is much cheaper than in the Cyclades.

The Pirates Day
One of the best days we have is when, after meeting some very nice friends of us, we decide to join altogether a day trip to the different island's beaches on a pirate boat.
We wake up really early, considering the late night, and the two of us with the four girls start our adventurous day on this funny boat.

This is one of the longest days in my life, seeing the sun rising two times without a night of sleep.
