Very interesting read indeed. Dharamsala has been on my list for some time now. Do you know if any of the cafes you have listed offer vegan options? :-) And what would you say, would it be safe to travel there as a female alone?
Believe me, there will be plenty of vegetarian options there. As for traveling alone as a female, I think it would be ok but you would need to understand that there will be a lot of people there, from all over. You can easily find yourself in bad situation just like anywhere so you need to be alert and sensible.
