My Trip to the Dominican Republic

Hey Guys!

Happy New Year! Wanted to share my experience in the Dominican Republic with you. First off, when flying to the Dominican Republic, I highly recommend flying into Punta Cana International Airport. I flew into Las Americas International Airport, and out of the 2 I enjoyed Punta Cana's airport much more. It is more touristy and an enjoyable atmosphere. We took a taxi to Casa de Campo where friends and family stayed in a luxurious resort area for 1 week. The house we rented had a turtle pit in the living room, a pool in the backyard, and direct access to a private beach!

We ate the majority of our meals at the house, as we had house staff and a chef included in our stay. We went to the Casa de Campo resort area beach to watch the sunset. The water was nice and warm and the view was breathtaking!

We brought in the new year on the beach at a Great Gatsby themed beach party.

Overall, I enjoyed my experience in the Dominican Republic very much. I know I stayed in the ritzy side of the island, but I would definitely go back and would like to explore more of the country.
